Ancient Spirituality
In Centro Romero, we celebrate the beauty of Latin American spirituality, an ancient blend of religious identities and faith-based struggles for justice. The religious landscape in the southwestern borderlands has changed dramatically over the past 20 years because of the diversity of spiritual practices now congregating in our binational sector.
Community Building
The key to successfully executing our mission lies in the targeted, personally intensive nature of the small community groups. By working in smaller groups, we can offer individualized attention to participants' spiritual needs, quickly identify and address the gaps in their living experience, and adapt outreach strategies to suit each person's pace and understanding of their new context and political environment.

The fundamentals of our spiritual health programs are based on seven principles that define how we relate to God (as we understand divinity), our brothers and sisters, the environment, and ourselves. The seven principles are Christ-centered, Community, Compassion, Communion, Competence, Commitment, and Consciousness.
